Andriod Smartphone Global Market Share Exceeds 80%

According to International Data Corporation (IDC), in the third quarter of 2013 Android platform crossed 80% marketshare. 211.6 million Android smartphones shipped in this quarter which is 51.3% growth from last year. Android continues to show its dominant position in the market. Samsung singlehandedly shipped 40% of the Android smartphones.
Along with Android other platforms also doing well.
ios shipped 33.8 million smartphones which is 25.6% growth from last year. Windows platform also done well with 156.0% growth from previous year.

Since 2012 Android smartphone's price is lesser than other smartphones and for this they are dominating the mobilemarket.
