Sony Xperia L got Android 4.2.2 update. This update is also avaliable through PC Companion.This Jelly Bean update bringing some major changes to its homescreen, camera quality, walkman, movies, album etc.
      
      Here is the full details:
  1. New homescreen UI, you can add up to 7 window panes now.
  2. Add more widgets in homescreen and lockscreen.
  3. Bug fixes and performance enhancements.
  4. Superior auto mode (auto scene recognition) and Burst Mode feature added in Camera interface.
  5. Better photo quality.
  6. Updated Sony Media apps.
  7. Small apps accessible from homescreen.
  8. Improved search and app sorting now.
  9. New Keyboard added.
  10. Transparent dock at the bottom part on homescreen.
  11. False memory notification bug is rectified.
  12. Day Dream feature added in display settings.

So if u own a Sony Xperia L keep an eye to your notifiaction area. According to Sony, Xperia L will get 4.3 update in mid December. To get 4.3 update you have to first update your Xperia L with 4.2 update.
