KitKat enters with 1.1% in November 2013

Google published its traditional monthly Android version distribution numbers. The Android 4.4 KitKat currently occupies1.1% share of all installs.

Android 2.2 Froyo, 2.3 Gingerbread, and 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich continues their slow decline. All three versions dropped their cut of the overall distribution. Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich are the biggest losers with 2.2% and 1.2% drops respectively over the past month.


Android 3.2 Honeycomb is still kicking in the pie chart. The tablet-only Android version continues to sit on a .1% share – the same as a month ago.
